about

The "lost" album starts off with a real rip-roarer. Written and demoed in 1990, played live a handful of times in '92 and '93 by Wigsaw, one of the bands I was in during this period. That band's bassist, Jonno Deily, is all over this song and most of this album; here he contributes bass, drums, and backing vocals. I'm doing everything else.

lyrics

Follow your lover, take him by the hand
Treat every step just like you own the land
Stand him on his head, do you understand a word I’ve said
That’s right, no slight exaggeration involved

Live for misbehavior, live just to rebel
The greatest thing’s when you shock yourself as well
You’ll hear them say you’re bad, but what could make you feel more glad
You’ll do what it takes, whatever’s in vogue

Crisp exclamation
Deep penetration
No contemplation
Of what this could do to me
What this could do to you
Are you still thinking at all
